About This Role
A Paralegal VA at VAConnect provides critical legal support to law firms, attorneys, and legal professionals across the US, UK, and Australia. You understand legal processes, documents, and the importance of discretion â and you bring that expertise to a remote setting.
This is a specialist role for qualified or experienced paralegals who want to serve international clients while working from home. Confidentiality and precision are non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities
- Legal research using online databases and case law resources
- Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
- Case management: filing, docketing, deadline tracking
- Contract review, summarisation, and basic analysis
- Client intake and liaison support
- Court filing coordination and procedural compliance support
- E-discovery and document management
- Billing support and time tracking
- Preparation of briefs, memos, and presentations for attorneys
- Confidential document handling and data room management
What We Look For
- Paralegal qualification (diploma or degree) OR minimum 3 years paralegal experience
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent English â formal legal writing standard
- Proficiency in legal software and case management tools
- Understanding of common law jurisdictions (US, UK, AU advantageous)
- Impeccable attention to detail and document accuracy
- Proven ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Reliable internet and professional home office
Nice To Have
- +Experience with US, UK, or Australian legal systems
- +Familiarity with Clio, MyCase, or similar practice management software
- +Experience in specific practice areas: conveyancing, corporate law, family law
- +Notarial or Commissioner of Oaths qualification
- +Experience in international or cross-border legal matters
