About This Role
A Marketing VA at VAConnect supports busy marketing teams and business owners with the content, campaigns, and social media management that drives brand growth. You’re creative, organised, and understand how digital marketing works in practice.
This role suits someone with a marketing background who wants to put their skills to work for international clients, building audiences, running campaigns, and creating content that converts.

Key Responsibilities
- Social media content creation, scheduling and community management
- Graphic design for social posts, ads and digital assets using Canva or Adobe tools
- Blog writing, editing, and basic SEO optimisation
- Email campaign setup, management, and reporting
- Market research and competitor analysis
- Content calendar planning and management
- Paid ad campaign support (Meta, Google setup and reporting)
- Website content updates (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace)
- Influencer outreach and partnership coordination
- Analytics reporting (Google Analytics, social insights, email metrics)
What We Look For
- Minimum 2 years experience in a marketing, content, or social media role
- Strong copywriting skills in English
- Proficiency in Canva (design portfolio advantageous)
- Hands-on experience with at least 2 major social platforms
- Understanding of email marketing tools (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, etc.)
- Basic understanding of SEO principles
- Creative eye for design and brand consistency
- Reliable internet and home office
Nice to Have
- +Experience with Meta Business Suite and/or Google Ads
- +Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere)
- +Video editing skills (CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
- +Experience managing WordPress websites
- +Knowledge of marketing automation tools
